Christoph Schreuer is Of Counsel at Zeiler Floyd Zadkovich and a well-known expert for investment protection and public international law. He has written expert opinions in many investment cases and has served as arbitrator in ICSID and UNCITRAL cases.
Currently he is working as an independent expert and arbitrator in investment cases. During his long career, Christoph has authored numerous articles and books. He regularly gives lectures and is a member of, inter alia, the ICSID Panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators and numerous international editorial boards. He is the author of The ICSID Convention: A Commentary (2001; second edition, 2009).
Christoph is a graduate of the Universities of Vienna (Dr iur, 1966), Cambridge (LLM, 1970) and Yale (JSD, 1979). During his academic career he was an assistant professor at the University of Graz, and a professor of law at the University of Salzburg, the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Vienna. He is fluent in English and German.
