Christianne Bouma is one of the partners of Van Hall Advocaten, a Dutch boutique employment law firm. The firm is initiator and co- founder of Innangard, an international employment law alliance with members all over the world.
Christianne graduated from Groningen University in 1999. Before joining Van Hall Advocaten in 2008, Christianne worked at Houthoff in Amsterdam, where she was a member of the employment and pensions department. She holds a specialist postgraduate diploma in employment law from Grotius Academy (2011). She speaks Dutch and English fluently.
Christianne has a talent for connecting people; she is customer-focused, effective and pragmatic where necessary. She advises her clients in an efficient, astute and effective manner. With nearly 20 years of experience in all facets of employment law, Christianne has an in-depth understanding of the interests of domestic and international employers. She has extensive experience in corporate reorganisations and individual dismissal cases.
Christianne has a special interest in cases involving employee co-determination, and is an expert in preparing balanced benefits packages for companies. She also regularly supports employees in various cases.
Christianne is a member of the American Bar Association (labour and employment law section); the European Employment Lawyers Association; the Dutch Bar Association; the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association; the Dutch Employment Law Association; and the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association.
