Carol heads Zhong Lun’s labour and employment law practice group. Prior to joining Zhong Lun, Carol was a key member of the employment group at a major international law firm. Before practising in law firms, Carol accumulated more than 10 years of experience working as head of human resources in China, and across Asia, for several international companies where she was responsible for overall HR and employee relations.
Carol’s area of focus covers all aspects of labour and employment-related matters, including hiring and firing; establishment and enforcement of company policies; HR documentation; employee compensation and benefits; national insurance; mass redundancies; labour dispatch and transition; cross-border employment issues; employee transition in mergers and acquisitions; trade union matters; global mobility and immigration; anti-corruption investigation and training; due diligence of human resources compliance; and labour dispute resolution in China.
