Bastian Fuchs has many years of comprehensive expertise in German and international construction law, public procurement law, litigation as well as German and international business law. He is a managing partner at TOPJUS Rechtsanwälte Kupferschmid & Partner since 2010, a mid-sized commercial law firm in Germany, well-known for its high-level knowledge on construction and procurement matters. Bastian Fuchs obtained certified specialisation in construction law and procurement law as well as international business law and represents a large variety of clients. He is also known for his national and international work as an arbitrator, adjudicator, and mediator in various and wide-ranging dispute resolution proceedings.
After qualifying as a lawyer, he published his doctorate thesis on legal implications of civil engineering and obtained a Master of Laws from the California Western School of Law. He is a qualified Attorney-at-Law in New York.
He has been an honorary professor at the Universities of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich since 2015 and lectures regularly at the LEUPHANA University in Lüneburg and the Technical University of Munich on national and international construction law.
