Avinash Pradhan is a partner with Rajah & Tann Singapore and with Christopher & Lee Ong, Malaysia.
Avinash’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate disputes. He is part of Rajah & Tann’s international arbitration and construction and projects practices, and the Rajah & Tann Asia network’s regional infrastructure, energy and resources practice. He has wide-ranging experience in international arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc, and he appears as counsel in the courts of both Malaysia and Singapore.
Avinash has extensive experience in the arbitration and litigation of projects disputes. His experience is diverse, spanning multiple jurisdictions and systems of law, and includes disputes relating to projects for oil and gas production, energy (traditional and renewable), roads, railroads, tunnels, bridges, process plants, airports, data centres, amusement rides, and integrated developments. He is also experienced in vessel construction disputes.
A large number of the matters Avinash has been involved in have been complex, engaging multidisciplinary technical issues. His keen interest in science and engineering allows him to deeply engage in the factual and technical issues that can arise. Moreover, for Avinash, disputes are to be approached strategically. He prides himself on taking a client-driven approach to dispute resolution, and in understanding and meeting client requirements.
Avinash achieved recognition as an accredited specialist for building and construction law in the Singapore Academy of Law’s Specialist Accreditation Scheme.
