Anthony Theau-Laurent is a partner in Accuracy's London office. He provides advice and independent expertise on matters pertaining to corporate finance and valuation in contentious and non-contentious contexts.
Anthony specialises in the assessment of complex damages arising from, inter alia, breaches of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, expropriation, construction delays and fraud. He has been appointed as expert witness in numerous commercial and investment treaty arbitrations as well as in court proceedings and has testified in disputes with claims ranging from five million to several billion US dollars.
Anthony also regularly advises large organisations in a range of strategic situations, such as mergers and acquisitions or the improvement of financial performance, and leads financial investigations in relation to allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption.
Much of Anthony’s work has been in an international context, involving cross-border disputes, transactions and investigations in the UK, Europe, MENA, North America and Asia. These assignments covered a broad range of sectors including mining, energy and utilities, civil engineering, concessions, manufacturing, automotive, distribution and retail, media, software and construction.
Anthony frequently contributes to publications and gives presentations on issues relating to valuation, damage assessment, and mergers and acquisitions.
He holds a Master of Sciences degree from HEC School of Management in Paris and is able to testify in English as well as in French.
