Mr Galindo has served in the board of directors of the National Banking Commission and the National Savings Bank.

Mr Galindo has a Master of Laws (LLM) from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana (1979), and a Bachelor of Law and Political Science from the University of Panama (1978).

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama, the Inter-Pacific Bar Association and the Banking Law Institute. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
