Andrew Woodward is a chartered civil engineer with more than 25 years' experience in the delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects. For more than 20 years, Andrew worked on the front line with major contractors and is now responsible for the management and delivery of multiple dispute related project portfolios, focusing on client relationships for global assignments.
Andrew has particular experience and expertise within the construction dispute field, having been party to dispute in his earlier role as a contractor and subsequent appointments as party appointed expert witness. Andrew has provided advice to parties on large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects throughout Europe and the Middle East has provided expert testimony at international arbitration (International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Rules) on matters of quantum, delay and construction management (joint venture disputes).
As a dedicated senior executive, Andrew draws on experience ranging from large-scale highways infrastructure, earthworks, structures, marine, utilities, waste, recycling, process engineering and heavy engineering to complex building works, tower blocks and other building type infrastructure projects.
Andrew has a BEng (Hons) in civil engineering and is a chartered civil engineer (CEng). He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE). He is also a prolific industry lecturer, focusing on making matters of delay and disruption in construction simple for people to understand.
