Andreas Burger is a counsel in the competition/regulatory practice team. His practice focuses on Swiss and EU competition law and regulated markets as well as on administrative law and contract law.

He has extensive experience in advising clients in administrative proceedings before authorities and courts, in particular in antitrust, public procurement, energy and public health matters. His work in competition law matters includes representing clients in investigations and merger control proceedings. Further, he regularly advises clients on distribution arrangements, on compliance matters, and conducts internal audits.

Andreas Burger has studied in Zurich and Paris and graduated in law (lic iur) from the University of Zurich in 2002. In 2008, he also graduated as a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Edinburgh. After working at a district court in Switzerland in civil and criminal matters from 2002 to 2006, he joined Homburger as an associate in 2006. In 2016, Andreas Burger was appointed as a counsel.
