Anastasia Mikhalitsyna excels at handling complex damages assessments. She is “very focused and hardworking” and has “excellent analytical skills”.
Anastasia joined Haberman Ilett in 2014 to specialise in disputes work. Before that, Anastasia spent more than four years in the audit department of a medium-sized international accounting firm and two years in forensics in a Big Four firm in Russia.
Her recent cases at Haberman Ilett include the valuation of a company in the property development sector; dealing with accounting irregularities in the construction industry in the CIS region; and the assessment of losses suffered by the claimant in the agricultural sector in Ukraine arising from the breach of the joint venture agreement. These cases were brought before the High Court in Russia, and ICSID and LCIA tribunals. She has experience in dispute resolution and litigation support engagements, forensic investigations and business valuation projects in the UK and Russia, CIS and other emerging markets.
After gaining a degree in economics and management from Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia, Anastasia became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Anastasia is a native Russian speaker and is fluent in English.
