US Office of Personal Management reveals its new general counsel

Elaine Kaplan has been appointed the role of general counsel of the US Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC.
She comes from the US National Treasury of Employees Union where she served as senior deputy general counsel.
Kaplan has over 25 years of legal experience in federal labour and employment law.
She previously acted as the head of the US Office of Special Counsel by appointment of President Bill Clinton. After completing five years with the agency, she became of counsel to plaintiffs side employment and civil rights firm, Bernabei and Katz.
