International lawyer Tomas Lindholm will be leaving Roschier, Attorneys Ltd after 26 years to join his wife Carita Wallgren-Lindholm at Asianajotoimisto Wallgren-Lindholm Advokatbyrå Oy Ab based in Helsinki.
Lindholm, who is currently a senior partner and chairman of the RoschierRaidla management board, will continue his role until 30 November.
In 2005, Lindholm launched Roschier’s four-year plan to establish a leading Swedish practice in Stockholm with 15 partners. Now that the mission is complete, Roschier’s board has approved a plan for the next four years, which will see the office headed by co-senior partner Axel Calissendorff and managing partner Ulf-Henrik Kull upon Lindholm’s exit.
Lindholm has led Roschier since 1995 first as managing partner and since 2001 as senior partner. Lindholm is also a former president of the Finnish Bar Associationand was regional deputy secretary general at the IBA between 2000 and 2004 and its treasurer from 2003 to 2004.
He has a broad practice, which includes corporate advisory, dispute resolution and M&A work.
Commenting on working alongside his wife at his new firm, Lindholm says, “I have worked with Carita as a partner for many years. I know that we share the same ambitions and attitude to our profession and work, and that we work very well together.”
Lindholm features in six publications in the Who’s Who Legal series including Product Liability Defence, Capital Markets, M&A, Corporate Governance, Commercial Litigators and Regulatory Communications.
