The FDIC hires new general counsel in Washington

Michael Bradfield has been named the new general counsel of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation based in Washington, DC.
He will head the 520 employee legal division who carry out work on regulatory issues, FDIC transactions, litigation, and corporate and commercial claims.
Bradfield, who was previously a partner at Jones Day, has extensive experience in US and non-US financial matters with a particular focus on domestic and international banking, mergers and acquisitions, federal bank regulatory matters, and international trade.
