The Chicago Climate Exchange hires new GC

The Chicago Climate Exchange has appointed Eric Nield as senior vice president and general counsel.
He will oversee all of the exchange's legal and regulatory operations.
Nield most recently served as legal counsel at Crédit Agricole Asset Management and prior to that was head of legal at Newedge Financial. In private practice, Nield served as an associate at Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman (now Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP) practising in the financial services group.
The Chicago Climate Exchange operates North America's only cap and trade system for all six greenhouse gases.
