Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP has appointed Simon Baxter as a partner in Brussels.
Baxter arrived from Clifford Chance LLP where he had spent 10 years heading its competition practice.
Tony Reeves, head of Clifford Chance’s European competition and regulation group in Brussels says: “We thank Simon for his contribution to our antitrust group and wish him well for his future career.”
Baxter regularly advises major corporations across a wide range of industries, particularly in relation to mergers, distribution systems, licensing and compliance issues.
He has particular experience advising clients in media, aeronautics and medical equipment sectors.
