Salans LLP has expanded its international reach, opening an office in Brussels with the recruitment of a seven-person team from Mayer Brown.
The Brussels opening brings the firm’s total to 22 offices.
Heading the Brussels team is Edward Borovikov – known in the field of international trade law and policy work for the EU, he has substantial experience in WTO, EU, and Russian trade law and practice, trade policy and investment negotiations.
Salans’ global managing partner, Darius Oleszczuk said that the Brussels office ‘fulfils the firm’s recognised need to have a highly-regarded EU competition and trade practice in Brussels’.
The new office will offer trade, customs, antitrust, regulatory and government affairs advice in multiple languages.
Borovikov says that the new team will offer “one-stop solutions in Brussels to cross-border businesses and governments.”
He features in The International Who’s Who of Trade & Customs Lawyers.
