Salans LLP hires new head of arbitration practice in Paris

International arbitrator Barton Legum has joined the Paris office of Salans LLP from Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
He will head up the investment treaty arbitration practice.
Legum is a highly ranked arbitrator who has served as the chief of the NAFTA Arbitration Division of the United States Department of State. He has also participated in the revision of the United States' model investment treaty and has acted in many ICSID and non-ICSID investment arbitrations over the past decade.
