Jones Day has hired Hervé Castelnau as a partner in its Paris office, joining with a team of three further lawyers.
Together they will work on all aspects of M&A with a specific focus on TMT and emerging technologies in Europe and Africa.
Castelnau has represented major French and international companies in their transactions including France Telecom, Maroc Telecom and Vodaphone. He is also is active in the agro-food, automotive and luxury industries where he has previously advised major corporations such as British American Tobacco, Emap (now Mondadori) and Euralcom.

Prior to joining the firm, Castelnau was a partner at Norton Rose LLP.
