Omers pension group appoints new general counsel

Jacques Demers, a former senior partner with the Ogilvy Renault LLP, is the new president and chief executive office of Canadian pension fund group, Omers.
Demers is an experienced corporate lawyer who focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions in infrastructure and natural resource related projects.
