Tom McQuail has joined the Brussels office of Morrison & Foerster LLP serving as a partner in the antitrust & competition practice.
He arrives from Howrey LLP.
McQuail’s recent achievements include representing drilling suppliers Smith International in obtaining European community merger regulation (EMCR) clearance of its merger with Schlumberger in 2010, and representing Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget in obtaining ECMR clearance of its acquisition of Procter & Gamble’s European branded consumer tissue business.
His experience covers a range of industries, including chemicals, consumer goods, energy, forest products, insurance, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.
