He arrives from Torys LLP where he spent over 30 years practising in the financial services, natural resources and energy, technology, intellectual property and construction areas. He also acted as arbitrator and counsel in complex disputes at every level of trial.
The firm began to expand its arbitration group in January aiming to broaden its international reach. Leon will be the seventh lawyer in the international arbitration group.

Leon's practice includes international commercial disputes, class actions, business break-ups, technology litigation, executive employment matters, products liability litigation, tax litigation and internal investigations.
He appears in The International Who's Who of Commercial Arbitration.
