John Rogovin has joined Warner Bros Entertainment

The former general counsel to the Federal Communications Commission, John Rogovin, has joined Warner Bros Entertainment as executive vice president and general counsel following the retirement of John Shulman.
He will report directly to chairman and CEO Barry Meyer.
Rogovin was at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP where he focused on federal court litigation, regulatory proceedings and M&A work. Prior to that, he worked for four years at the FCC and before that, he was a partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
He has also acted as deputy assistant attorney general for the US Department of Justice in its civil division.
In his new role, he will be responsible for all of the company's legal needs including negotiation, litigation, intellectual property and employment law.
