John Wright has joined the dispute resolution department at Goodman Derrick LLP as a construction and engineering partner based in London.
He joins from Bird & Bird where he was joint head of the international construction and engineering practice, which he joined in 2008 following the merger with Lane and Partners.
Wright advises employers and contractors on a range of domestic and international disputes focusing primarily on contentious construction matters. He also sits as an arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator in construction and other commercial disputes.
Goodman Derrick’s senior partner, Tim Langton, commented, “We are very pleased to welcome John to Goodman Derrick. His acknowledged expertise in construction disputes will complement our existing practice and, we hope, enable us to provide an even better service to both his clients and our own”.
“I am delighted to be joining Goodman Derrick,” added Wright. “They have an excellent reputation in areas such as property and commercial dispute resolution which will fit very well with my own practice. They also have a supportive and collegiate culture which is most attractive to me.”
Wright is listed in The International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers.
