Hans Bagner has announced that he will be leaving Vinge for a post as of-counsel with boutique firm Frank Advokatbyrå, based in Stockholm.
Frank was formed three years ago by three former Vinge lawyers who specialise in litigation and arbitration work.
With the addition of Bagner, the firm will expand its cross-border and domestic dispute resolution practice.
Bagner has worked with Scandinavian firm Vinge for over forty years. He says: “It has been a unique and inspiring experience to have participated in, and possibly contributed to, the emergence of Vinge as a leading law firm in Northern Europe and to have worked with the most qualified colleagues and personal friends.”
Bagner has acted as counsel and arbitrator in more than 100 international commercial arbitrations both in ad hoc and institutional proceedings. He served as the Swedish member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration between 1996 and 2002, and is currently a member of the ICC Arbitration Commission and a panel member of the ICDR.
He will begin his new role in January 2010 and features in The international Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration.
