Former Howrey chairman is named managing partner of AV&H

The former chairman of Howrey LLP's antitrust practice John DeQ Briggs has joined the Washington, DC, office of Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider LLP as managing partner and co-chair of the antitrust group.
Briggs will work alongside the founding partner and chair of the antitrust practice at AV&H, John Harkrider, to manage and develop a broad antitrust and regulatory practice in Washington.
Recognised as a leader in the field, Briggs focuses his practice on monopolisation litigation, merger clearance before US agencies, class action litigation, price discrimination litigation and antitrust issues out of the use or abuse of intellectual property.
Briggs features in The International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers.
