Daniel Abramovich has joined power generation company Edegel as general counsel based in Peru.
He joins from Payet Rey Cauvi Abogados where he spent 12 years.
In his new role, Abramovich heads a team of five lawyers who are a part of a wider team under the Endesa group - the Spanish company that owns Edegel.
Commenting on his new post, Abramovich says: “This is a very big group and they have interesting work. I hope to have a very long career here.”
Payer Rey Cauvi’s José Antonio Payet admits to being “very sad” to see Abramovich go but he says that the decision has not changed the relationship with their former colleague and they are not looking for a replacement.
Abramovich took up his post on 2 November.
