Inga Korpinen has joined dispute resolution boutique Lindholm Wallgren.
The competition specialist arrives from Roschier Attorneys in Helsinki where she was a senior adviser in the firm’s EU and competition practice.
In her new position as senior counsel, Korpinen plans to undertake a more strategic role: “I’ll be working on some cases, but I’m also going to take on more of the boardroom stuff, designing an overall competition strategy for companies. It’s inspiring to have a new start at this stage in my career.”
Korpinen, who has previously worked with the co-heads of her new firm, says that her move seemed like the perfect opportunity. “I took stock of my career and wanted to take it in a new direction, whilst scaling back my working hours. I’ve known Carita Lindholm-Wallgren and Tomas Lindholm for a long time,” she says.
Korpinen has over 20 years of experience of European and competition law in government and private practice. She previously worked for the Finnish Chamber of Commerce, both in Helsinki and in Brussels. Recently she acted as counsel in a cartel case that involved negotiations with the European Commission and the US Department of Justice.
She appears in the International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists.
