Leading bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer Bruce Bennett has joined Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in Los Angeles leaving his position as head of business reorganisation and restructuring and founding partner of Hennigan Bennett & Dorman LLP.
Four partners join him along with two counsel and three associates who were all previously members of Hennigan Bennett and Dorman LLP.
Bennett has vast experience in corporate reorganisation cases in the United States, within the retail, telecommunications, aviation, manufacturing, real estate, insurance, energy, banking and computer technology industries. One of his most notable cases was as lead debtor’s counsel in the United States’ largest municipal bankruptcy, Orange County, California.
