International law firm King & Spalding LLP has announced the opening of its Geneva office in July with the hire of leading international trade lawyer Daniel Crosby.
Crosby will join from Budin & Partners where he specialised in World Trade Organization matters, international trade and investment; corporate and public international law; mergers and acquisitions and project finance.
The Geneva office will be King & Spalding’s seventh office outside the United States and will focus on WTO counselling and negotiations as well as WTO dispute settlement proceedings and international trade and investment counselling. The firm expects to add other lawyers and consultants to its Geneva office in the coming weeks.
Commenting on his move, Crosby said: “King & Spalding has a premier international trade practice, and I am excited to be part of this exceptional team. The firm’s talented lawyers and international platform provide me with the capacity and opportunity to help expand the scope of the trade practice, and I look forward to servicing the firm’s clients in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere around the globe.”
Crosby features in The International Who’s Who of Trade & Customs Lawyers.
