Julian Joshua has joined the antitrust & competition group at Steptoe & Johnson LLP based in the firm’s Brussels office.
He joins from Howrey LLP.
Joshua defends clients in complex international cartel investigations, including advocacy before the European Commission, appeals to the European courts, and related civil litigation.
He successfully defended the United Airlines in the Commission’s Air Cargo case, and more recently he has acted for clients in marine hose, freight forwarders and heat stabiliser cartel cases.
“For decades, major cartel investigations have been at the heart of our practice, and Julian is a distinguished addition to a central area of our work,” commented Roger Warin, chair of the firm.
Joshua added: “Steptoe’s reputation representing clients in some of the most complex cartel investigations before the European Commission and across the world was very attractive to me, and I look forward to using my experience to help the firm’s clients further navigate this challenging environment.”
