Isabel Davies has joined the commercial and technology group at Boyes Turner in Reading, UK.
She joins from CMS Cameron McKenna where she was senior partner in its IP team and chair of its technology, media and telecoms sector group.
Davies specialises in contentious and transactional issues as well as strategic issues in managing patent, trademark and design portfolios. She advises clients across a broad range of industries including technology, media and telecoms, consumer products, life sciences and the hotel and leisure industry.
“I am excited about joining Boyes Turner,” comments Davies. “In the current climate it makes particular sense for my existing clients- who will benefit from the firm’s value focused regional charges, which compare very favourably to City rates.”
“Isabel’s arrival comes at a significant time for the further development of the group and the firm’s IP service,” added Sarah Hadland, head of Boyes Turner’s IP team. “Isabel’s experience and skills are a perfect strategic fit.”
Davies features in The International Who’s Who of Patents Lawyers and The International Who’s Who of Trademark Lawyers.
