Bennett Jones LLP has hired Randal Hughes as co-leader of its competition and antitrust practice group in Toronto.
He joins from McCarthy Tétrault LLP.
Hughes specialises in merger, behavioural, civil and criminal antitrust matters. He has acted for Canada’s Competition Bureau and public sector clients as well as serving as Canadian non-governmental adviser at the International Competition Network’s annual conferences.
“I’m thrilled to be joining some great people at a firm growing domestically and internationally,” says Hughes. “It’s a very good match for me and my practice, as international work is one of my key focuses.”
