Barnes & Noble appoints new general counsel

The world's largest bookseller Barnes and Noble has announced the appointment of Jennifer Daniels as vice president general counsel and secretary of the board of directors.
Daniels previously held a senior position at IBM where she served as an attorney, vice president and assistant general counsel in the legal and regulatory compliance department. Barnes and Noble sells more than 300 million books per year, from 793 stores in 50 states, and is headquartered in New York.
