Barbosa Müssnich & Aragão merges with specialist IP firm

Brazilian firm Barbosa Müssnich & Aragão has merged with IP boutique, Carminatti Schulz.
All three partners and eight associates from the Rio de Janeiro based Carminatti Schulz, bring a wealth of experience in trademarks, patents, design and copyrights law, and related practices in entertainment, new media and Internet law.
Partners Antonella Carminatti, who features in The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers, and Claudia Schulz, will head up the IP practice at BM&A Propriedade Intelectual. Ana Cristina Müller, also a partner, will be in charge of patents.
BM&A boasts over 200 lawyers with offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Belo Horizonte.
