WilmerHale launches in Frankfurt with a five-partner team from Mayer Brown

Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP has launched its second office in Germany with the hire of a five-partner team from Mayer Brown LLP including Rüdiger Herrmann and Reinhart Lange.
The new Frankfurt office will provide WilmerHale clients with corporate, IP, litigation and antitrust advice, with an emphasis on the life sciences, pharmaceutical, energy and cleantech sectors.
Herrmann, who will join the corporate practice, focuses on representing national and international clients in corporate transactions, with a specific focus on M&A, public offerings, private equity and venture capital transactions, and IP. Strategic alliances, collaborations and licensing strategies in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, cleantech and renewable energy are also an important part of his work. He appears in The International Who's Who of Life Sciences Lawyers.
Lange, who features in The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers, will join the intellectual property practice in Frankfurt. His primary focus is on IP and litigation issues involving unfair competition.
