Timothy Pohl begins new post as managing director of Lazard

Timothy Pohl will be leaving Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in January 2009 to join the restructuring group at financial services firm Lazard as managing director.
Currently co-leader of the worldwide corporate restructuring group at Skadden, Pohl represents a variety of clients in complex business reorganizations, troubled company M&A, debt restructurings and financing matters. He has acted as lead counsel to companies experiencing financial difficulties including large corporations in their chapter 11 cases. He has also led successful out-of-court restructurings of many companies, including Residential Capital, LLC and Meridian Technologies. Pohl currently appears in The International Who's Who of Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyers.
