Allen & Overy LLP has boosted its German practice with three lateral hires, including former Lovells partner Daniel Busse.
He will be based in the Frankfurt office and will head the firm’s German dispute resolution practice.
Busse has a strong focus on general litigation, banking and finance litigation, and arbitration, especially in the area of post-M&A disputes. He frequently acts as arbitrator in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings and also represents clients in state court and arbitration proceedings. He is also a lecturer in arbitration law at the University of Gießen.
Senior partner of Allen & Overy Dr George Weiand said: “By bringing Daniel Busse on board as the new head of the practice group we not only effectively strengthen our existing capacities but also set the course for a swift repositioning in the German market.”
Busse is featured in The International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration Lawyers.
