3i finds new general counsel

International private equity firm 3i has hired Kevin Dunn as general counsel, company secretary and member of its management committee.
The former General Electric senior managing director took up the position following the retirement of general counsel, Tony Brierley.
In his new role, Dunn is responsible for the group's legal, compliance, internal audit, and company secretariat functions. He will also act as chairman of 3i group's corporate responsibility committee.
3i has offices in 14 countries across Europe, Asia and the US. It is the only private equity and venture capital firm in the FTSE 100.
