Amber Andrade is recognised for her excellence in forensic accounting, particularly when it comes to handling complex financial services disputes.

Amber Andrade is a director in Deloitte forensic and is based in London.

Since beginning her forensic accounting career in 2004, Amber has developed her expertise in accounting investigations and dispute related projects from a diverse portfolio of multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional projects.  Her practice spans regulatory reviews, skilled person reports, investigations into whistle blower allegations and large, complex expert witness and advisory engagements.  She works with clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, consumer business, retail and EIU.  Amber has also worked on secondment at the Serious Fraud Office where she was part of a team investigating a multi-million pound alleged fraud.

Her high-profile projects require her to engage with sophisticated clients in highly pressurised situations, translating complex information and analysis into understandable and concise language for presentation to executive committees, regulatory bodies and at court.

As part of the Deloitte financial services disputes leadership team, Amber has recently focussed on contentious matters in the financial services sector, where she works closely with clients and their legal teams in a wide variety of high-value, global disputes and investigations.  She assists clients and legal teams with establishing relevant facts and circumstances to enable them to assess the commercial and financial merits of potential claims, supporting them with responses to regulatory bodies and in expert witness assignments.

Most recently, Amber has led combined teams of forensic accountants, subject matter experts and forensic technology specialists assisting a number of global banks to successfully defend multi-million pound counter-party disputes concerning complex financial products. She was also a key member of the independent review team investigating allegations of accounting irregularities at a major retailer, which required her to interface with various regulatory authorities.
