Alicia Donahue is a well-established figure in the US market with commentators praising her excellent work on medical device disputes.
Alicia Donahue co-chairs the firm’s product liability litigation practice group and served as the managing partner of the San Francisco office from 2005 to 2011. For more than 30 years, Alicia has represented drug and device manufacturers in complex litigation, coordinated proceedings and MDLs throughout the country. Alicia currently serves as the firm’s relationship partner for Pfizer, Roche and Genentech, for whom she serves as national MDL counsel.
In 2017, Alicia was named one of the “most influential women in Bay area business” by the San Francisco Business Times. She has also been recognised in Expert Guides: Women in Business Law, and as one of “California’s top women litigators” by the California Daily Journal.
Alicia is affiliated with a number of organisations. She is an active member of the American Bar Association’s product liability section; inaugural chair of the American Bar Association’s tort trial and insurance practice section’s pharmaceutical, medical device and bioscience committee; and co-chair of the American Bar Association’s tort and product liability section’s drug, device and biotechnology subcommittee. She is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the National Association of Women Lawyers and the San Francisco Bar Association, and a former member of the National Association of Women Judges advisory committee.
Alicia received her JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
