Alexandre Mazuranic is a partner in White & Case's international arbitration practice and is based in Geneva.
Alexandre's practice focuses on international commercial arbitration. He has acted as counsel or arbitrator and advised parties in over 40 commercial disputes submitted to arbitration in various industries and sectors, including construction and engineering, energy (including oil and gas), mergers and acquisitions, commodities trading, and pharmaceuticals and healthcare, under ad hoc or institutional rules and various applicable laws.
Alexandre has also represented parties before the Swiss Supreme Court in proceedings related to challenges of arbitral awards. He also advises clients on Swiss contract law and on international trade sanctions.
Alexandre is also listed as a "rising star" in commercial arbitration in the 2018 edition of the Euromoney Legal Media Group Expert Guides and is ranked as one of the top seven “most highly regarded individuals” in WWL: Arbitration 2019 – Future Leaders.
Alexandre holds a law degree from the University of Geneva and an LLM from King’s College London. He is the immediate past co-chair of the Swiss Arbitration Association’s ASA below 40 group.
