Alexander Hofmann is a partner at Laux Lawyers AG and advises clients in all areas of IT law. His main fields of expertise are information technology sourcing and outsourcing, digitisation, cloud computing, new technologies, information security, data law and data protection law.
Recent examples of Alexander’s experience include cloud computing migration and implementation projects for various insurance companies in Switzerland; advisory; and negotiations of IT outsourcings for Swiss banks and a Swiss branch of a foreign bank. He also led GDPR implementation projects for SMEs in the areas of rights trade and asset management, as well as for a world-leading supplier in the automotive industry.
Alexander can look back on many years of experience as an in-house counsel for IP and IT at a large international bank, and also as a lawyer for copyright, media, and general commercial and contract law.
