Alessandro has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate transactions (such as company and business acquisitions and disposals, mergers, and joint ventures) and regularly advises on industrial M&A as well as buyout deals by private equity funds.
Alessandro is also very active in the real estate sector, advising Italian real estate companies (public and private), developers, contractors, real estate investment funds and asset management companies, as well as several foreign private equity firms with a special focus on real estate. He advised on some of Italy’s largest real estate development deals, acquisitions and sales of parcels of land and real estate portfolios (including residential, office, retail, leisure and industrial buildings) and represented clients in significant cross-border transactions as well as in construction litigation.
In recent years, Alessandro has provided advice in connection with several corporate and debt restructurings (also involving some of the largest Italian real estate companies) and in the area of acquisition finance, acting for both borrowers and lenders.
Alessandro received his law degree from the State University of Milan in 1997 (maxima) and an LLM from University College London (UCL) in 2001. He is also a lecturer in civil law at the State University of Milan.
