Who's Who Legal Corporate Tax: Advisory

Agnès joined the tax department of CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 1995 after five years at Ernst & Young. Specialising in international taxation, she handles cases in corporate taxation such as international tax planning (intra-group flows, tax treaty optimisation, transfer pricing, optimisation of the effective tax rate), M&A and reorganisations, tax structuring of complex international contracts, and international compensation of executives.

She works primarily for French companies, advising them in their international expansion. For four years she was based in São Paulo where she gained strong experience in dealing with Franco Brazilian matters. Since then, she has regularly advised French groups regarding Brazilian and Latin American taxation, as well as Latin American companies investing in France.

She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). She is also a French foreign trade adviser (CCE), is the co-head of the international tax committee of the CCE and heads the CCE working group on Brazil taxation.

She holds a master's degree in business law and taxation from the University of Paris II – Assas (1990) and graduated from the Paris Institute for Political Sciences (1988). She is a speaker at many international tax conferences and regularly publishes in French tax reviews.

In addition to English, Agnès speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

WWL says: Sources highlight Agnès de l’Estoile Campi as an emerging market specialist. She is recognised for her full-service support of French multinational clients' Latin American projects, advising on a range of issues from multijurisdictional compliance to tax optimisation.
