Eduardo Zuleta is a partner of Gomez-Pinzon Zuleta Abogados where he leads the international arbitration and litigation department and the practice of international law.
Eduardo Zuleta is a vice president of the ICC Court of Arbitration; member of the Panel of Arbitrators of ICSID (President's list); and member of the LCIA Court. He has acted as counsel, chair, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator in more than 100 commercial arbitrations under the aegis of ICC, AAA/ICDR, IACAC, UNCITRAL and the rules of numerous regional centers. Mr Zuleta has acted in investment arbitrations under the ICSID and UNCITRAL rules and in annulment committees under ICSID.
Mr Zuleta is listed in the panel of arbitrators of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the Hong-Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), ICDR Energy List and several arbitration centers in the Americas. He is the past chair of the IBA arbitration committee; and vice president ITA and president of the Latin American Arbitration Association. He was appointed by the government of Colombia as a member of the drafting commission of the new International Arbitration Statute.
Eduardo Zuleta is an adviser, counsel and expert witness to public and private companies, in a variety of jurisdictions, complex transactions, litigations and arbitrations related to foreign direct investment, construction, infrastructure, project finance, law of companies, oil and gas, energy and international commercial contracts.
Mr Zuleta has a JD from Rosario University in Bogotá (with honours); a master’s degree in finance law from the same university; and an LLM from Queen Mary, University of London, with a specialisation in dispute resolution.
