Joselino Morales López leads the amparo trial, tax and administrative law litigation practice in Greenberg Traurig´s Mexico City office, in which he is an active partner. With more than 20 years' experience leading high-stakes and complex trial cases in Mexican federal and state courts, he has been the lead lawyer in landmark litigation proceedings representing international and domestic clients across diverse industries, including infrastructure, telecommunications, satellite, construction, real estate and energy.
In addition to his experience in private practice, Joselino previously served as Clerk of the Mexican Federal Court of Justice for tax and administrative matters.
Furthermore, to the above-mentioned sectors, his practice also focuses on competition/antitrust, intellectual property, public work and government contracts.
He has had significant representation acting as lead litigation counsel, for example: Satélites Mexicanos (amparo trials en administrative proceedings); Consortium in charge of the construction of the Tunnel Emisor Oriente (on the construction of one of the largest wastewaters tunnels in the world); Ingenieros Civiles Asociados (representation in diverse annulment trials); and the largest mobile network providers in the world (amparo trials, administrative and regulatory proceedings).
He is an active member of the National Association of Business Lawyers (ANADE). He has a postgraduate diploma in law (PGDL) (tax law), from the Panamerican University (1997–1998); and a diploma in amparo trial, Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas at the Autonomous University of Mexico (1989–1993).
