Anthony Theau-Laurent is a partner in Accuracy’s forensics, litigation and arbitration practice and is based in London. He has over 15 years of professional experience, providing advice and independent expertise on business, valuation and accounting matters in the context of disputes, transactions and multi-jurisdictional frauds.
Anthony has been appointed as expert witness in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations as well as in English High Court proceedings, and has given oral evidence in disputes with claims amounting to several billion US dollars. He has particular expertise in the assessment of damages arising from, inter alia, breaches of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, expropriation, construction delays and fraud.
Anthony also leads financial investigations in relation to allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption, tax evasion and money laundering and regularly advises organisations seeking to acquire or divest businesses.
Much of Anthony’s work in recent years has been in an international context, involving situations in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia. These assignments covered a wide range of industry sectors including mining, energy, utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, manufacturing, automotive, media, retail and distribution.
Anthony holds a Master of Sciences degree in management from HEC School of Management in Paris. He is able to testify in English as well as in French.
