Adriana Noemi Pucci has been a senior partner at Adriana Noemi Pucci – Sociedade de Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil since 2012. She represents domestic and international clients in commercial arbitrations relating to, inter alia, construction of wind farms, construction of hydro-electric power stations, energy, constructions under the regime of maximum price guaranteed, real estate, franchising, corporate disputes, shareholders agreements, futures contracts, port services, unfair competition, agency agreements, international sale of goods and services agreements.

She has acted as counsel, chairman, party-appointed arbitrator or sole arbitrator under the auspices of the ICC, LCIA and Brazilian institutions, as well as arbitrator in ad hoc arbitration proceedings. She also provides consultancy on the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and domestic arbitral awards.

She is a listed arbitrator in several different arbitration institutions: the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC), the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the Arbitration Centre of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAMCCBC), Market Arbitration Chamber of BM&F BOVESPA, the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of the Federation of Industries of São Paulo (CAM-FIESP), the Brazilian Enterprises Arbitration Chamber (CAMARB), the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of the Engineering Institute (CAM-IE), and the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the European Chambers (CAE), among others.

She is listed in the commercial arbitration chapter of Who’s Who Legal: Brazil (2011–2013 and 2017).

Adriana received her law degree from the Catholic University of Santa Fé, Argentina (1988), her master´s degree in Latin America Integration Law from University of São Paulo, Brazil (1997) and her PhD from the University of São Paulo Law School, Brazil (2003). Adriana spent more than 10 years as the editor-in-chief of the Brazilian Arbitration Review, a renowned quarterly journal covering national and international arbitration as practised in Brazil and across Latin America.

She is a member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee’s executive council, and the FIESP/CIESP Arbitration and Mediation Centre’s superior council, and director of arbitration at CAM-IE.

Adriana is also a member of the Brazilian Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, and a licensed member of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo chapter.

She has authored several legal articles and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars in Brazil and abroad.

Adriana practises in Spanish (her native language), Portuguese and English. She has conducted proceedings as counsel or arbitrator entirely in Portuguese and English.
