Adriana Noemi Pucci is a senior partner at Adriana Noemi Pucci – Sociedade de Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil. She represents domestic and international clients in commercial arbitrations relating to, inter alia, construction of wind farms, construction of hydroelectric power stations, energy, constructions under the regime of maximum price guaranteed, real estate, franchising, corporate disputes, shareholders agreements, futures contracts, port services, unfair competition, agency agreements, international sale of goods and services agreements.
She has acted as counsel, chair, party-appointed arbitrator and sole arbitrator under the auspices of the ICC and other Brazilian institutions, as well as arbitrator in ad hoc arbitration proceedings. She also provides consultancy on the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and domestic arbitral awards.
She is a listed arbitrator at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, the Arbitration Center of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the Market Arbitration Chamber, the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of Federation of Industries of São Paulo, the Brazilian Enterprises Arbitration Chamber, the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of the Engineering Institute and the Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the European Chambers, among others.
Adriana received her law degree from the Catholic University of Santa Fé (1988); and her master's degree in Latin American integration law (1997) and her PhD (2003) from the University of São Paulo.
Adriana was editor-in-chief of the Brazilian Arbitration Review for over 10 years. She is legal director of the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber of the Engineering Institute, a licensed member of the Brazilian Bar Association’s, São Paulo chapter, and a member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee and the Brazilian committee of the International Chamber of Commerce.
