Arne Fuchs focuses his practice on international dispute resolution, with an emphasis on international arbitration and public international law, including investment treaty arbitration. He has experience with disputes conducted under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Convention, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and United Nationals Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Rules, as well as pure ad-hoc arbitration. Arne also regularly acts as secretary of the tribunal in international arbitrations (commercial and treaty).
In addition to the recognition in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration – Future Leaders (2017), Arne was recognised as a dispute resolution specialist by Juve in 2016 (as part of the German dispute resolution team nominated for “Law Firm of the Year in Dispute Resolution”).
Arne studied law at the University of Augsburg and successfully completed an advanced training program in German and International Arbitration at the University of Frankfurt. He also obtained his master of laws degree from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where he focused his studies on public international law and international arbitration.
Arne is fluent in English and German and has working knowledge of French.
