Dr Annett Kuhli has practised law as a partner with Kantenwein Zimmermann Fox Kröck & Partner in Munich since 2003, as part of the commercial dispute resolution team. She is qualified as an attorney at law, a tax consultant and a lawyer specialised in tax law.
Annett is fluent in German and English and speaks Russian and Swedish.
Due to her knowledge and experience as a tax consultant, Annett is regularly recommended in arbitral proceedings concerning tax issues and/or disputes about financial or accounting issues. Further, she focuses on disputes with a post-M&A angle as well as disputes with an energy-related background, specifically price adjustments of long-term contracts or warranty claims.
Due to her dual legal and tax expertise, Annett is often called upon in cases concerning contractual liability for tax and/or legal advice. Many of these cases are handled in arbitrations.
She has been acting as counsel, co-arbitrator and chairman of the arbitral tribunal in national and international arbitration proceedings. She is experienced in ad hoc arbitrations and disputes under the rules of DIS, Swiss Chambers of Commerce, the International Film and Television Alliance and the ICC.
Besides her expertise in arbitration proceedings, Annett regularly advises and represents non-profit organisations (founding capital between €2 million and €30 million).
Annett is recommended in national and international rankings as a leading individual in litigation and arbitration. Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers recommended her in 2015 as leading commercial lawyer in the areas of arbitration and international arbitration.
In 2016 she was named “Lawyer of the Year” in the field of arbitration and mediation in Bavaria.
According to The Legal 500, Annett is “straightforward” and “presents clearly”.
